IHLA will hold nominations for candidates to participate in the six IHLA-appointed committees for the 2025-2027 term.

IHLA is inaugurating a process to nominate candidates to participate in the six IHLA-appointed committees listed below:

Participate in nominations
All IHLA members in good standing are invited and encouraged to participate in the Appointed Committee nomination process by nominating yourself or another candidate using the form below. Please fill in all the information requested in the nomination form. The IHLA Nominations & Elections Committee will only consider candidates only if all the information in the form is completed and submitted by December 7, 2024, and the nominated candidate is an IHLA member in good standing.
Timeline
7 November 2024 | Nomination opens
IHLA members in good standing can submit nominees or be nominated for a position. Self-nominations are acceptable.
7 December 2024 | Nominations closed
No nominations submitted after this date will be accepted.
17 January 2025 | Nominations submitted to Executive Board
Only IHLA members in good standing can vote on elected positions. All members are encouraged to vote, and will have 30 days to do so.
7 December – 5 January 2025 | Nominee validation
Eligibility of nominees as candidates is validated (both nominators and nominees need to be IHLA members in good standing). Validation is done by the Standing Committee on Nominations and Elections and the IHLA Secretariat.
20 February 2025 | IHLA Executive Board selects an initial slate of candidates.
